Concept Entertainment has a commitment to charity. In 2009 we hosted events to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the OHSU Knight Cancer Foundation, the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

Every year Duke’s teams up with 99.5 The Wolf for the Low Dough concert series. A portion of all ticket sales go directly to Portland’s own Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. This year’s series included some of the biggest names in country music, including Trailer Choir, Darryl Worley, James Otto and Justin Moore. This year alone, Duke’s and the Wolf were able to raise $27,540!

In conjunction with Portland Family Magazine, Grand Central Restaurant has been dedicating to helping the LIVESTRONG foundation raise money and awareness. We hosted a bowling event on national LIVESTRONG day, and our bowl desk sells official LIVESTRONG bracelets to raise money for and bring awareness to the fight against cancer.

In 2009 Grand Central Restaurant & Bowling Lounge donated over $9,000 to local charity organizations to help with fundraisers, charity auctions and event prizes.
